How do I update to 1.19.x or above?

This article will help you learn how to update your Minecraft version to 1.19.x or above. In order to update your Java Minecraft game you must have a legal copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.
Open your Minecraft Client, this is also known as "Minecraft Launcher".
Click on the 'Installations' tab.
Click on 'New' and add a name for your new version.
Select the version you would like use, you can choose between 1.19 through to 1.19.x.
Click on 'Create' in the bottom-right corner to save your changes.
Return to the play tab and select the version you want to play.
