How do I join CubeCraft? (Java Edition)
Looking for Bedrock Edition? Check out How do I join CubeCraft? (Bedrock Edition)
CubeCraft Java Edition has now updated to Minecraft version 1.20.x. It is no longer possible to play CubeCraft from versions 1.8 through to 1.19.x.
Step 1. Open Minecraft Java Edition select the version you would like to run. We support all versions 1.20.x and above.
Step 2. On the main screen click on "Multiplayer".
Step 3. Click on "Add Server".
Step 4. Fill out the details.
Server Name: CubeCraft Games
Server Address: play.cubecraft.net
Server Resource Packs: Enabled (this allows us to send you resource packs automatically).
Step 5. Double click on the "CubeCraft Games" entry and enjoy playing on CubeCraft!
Sometimes you cannot join the server. This could be to multiple causes. Following is a short list of issues you might be having together with a solution.
Your account has been banned
You get banned when you break one of our rules. Please check this article about how to (possibly) get unbanned: https://help.cubecraft.net/en/article/contacting-team-cubecraft-2c4ft5/
Your connection has been blocked
Blocked connections have been developed in order to reduce the amount of rule breaking, more specifically cheaters who evade their bans by switching IP addresses. Please check this article for more information: https://help.cubecraft.net/en/article/blocked-connections-aod7sq/
Your internet connection speed is slow
In many cases, players experience an insufficient internet connection speed which makes joining our server difficult. Most of the time, simply resetting your router should solve the issue. If you are still unable to connect to the server, try disconnecting other items that may be limiting your internet access (Smart TV's, gaming consoles, smartphones, etc).
The server is down for maintenance
If you receive a message stating that the server is down for maintenance, then this means nobody at that time is able to connect. Please be patient and try connecting later.
Mojang's servers are down for maintenance
If you receive a message stating that Mojang's servers are down for maintenance, this means that nobody is able to connect. You'll need to be patient and attempt to connect later.
Outdated Version
If you receive a message saying you're on an outdated version you'll need to restart your launcher and update to one of our compatible versions.
We hope you enjoy playing all our games. If you need any other support have a look through the support pages on this website or start a chat with us.
