Other players can't see my messages

1. You have been muted

If a message, as shown below appears, your chat has been suspended by the moderation team.

Appeal Code will be different

You can appeal a mute exactly like a ban. See [How to appeal a ban or mute xxx].

2. Communication Suspension by Mojang Studios.

If you have not received an official mute from a member of our team and still seem to be experiencing issues with friends or players being unable to see your messages, it might be because you have been temporarily muted by Mojang's automatic filter or in rare cases by Mojang Studios staff. Team CubeCraft are unable to assist with this kind of punishment as it has not been issued by any of our team.

Keep in mind that spamming things in chat (such as the alphabet) will not result in your shadow mute being removed - this is against CubeCraft rules, will worsen your Xbox reputation, and can actually cause the shadow mute to be extended, or even made permanent. Communication suspensions will follow you through Realms and Featured Servers. The best way to remove this kind of punishment is by improving your chat behaviour when interacting with players.

3. Your chat settings are hiding messages

Check that chat is enabled in your Minecraft settings, and that it is not set to "commands only" or "hidden".

On Bedrock, chat is also governed by your Xbox privacy settings. If your account has communication restrictions, the game blocks your messages before they reach us, and no CubeCraft setting can override that. Xbox family settings on a child account are the usual cause. You can change them here: https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/settings

4. The other player has ignored you

If one specific person never replies, they may have used /ignore. That is their choice, and we do not reverse it or reach out to them in your stead.
